Hyderabad: Two persons drowned in different incidents on Sunday. V. Naresh, 20, was washed away in the waters of the Musi project in Suryapet district, while K. Sattamma, 48, fell into an overflowing stream in Ranga reddy district.
Naresh of Nemmikal village in Atmakur (S) mandal was visiting the Musi project. Due to the rains upstream, the flow was heavy, and he was soon swept away. In the other incident, Sattamma from Mutpoor village was crossing the Chakari stream when she fell into it and was carried away. The search is on.
