Godavari starts receding at Bhadrachalam
Bhadrachalam: Flood flow in Godavari River has started receding with its level coming down to 43 feet from 48 feet at Bhadrachalam on Thursday.
It is expected that the level will further reduce to below the first warning level of 43 feet by Friday morning.
People of the district have heaved a sigh of relief after floods have receded and traffic has been restored between Bhadrachalam and Venkatapuram as well as between Burgampahad and Bhadrachalam.
Water has also receded from the road at Mondikunta village near Sarapaka.
