VIJAYAWADA: The locals of faction villages of Palnadu region hoping the ending of faction feuds with the adoption of villages by the Police Department.
Every group in the faction village would support one political party and there are two faction groups in faction villages who were supporters of Telugu Desam and YSR Congress. The tradition of leaving villages by the supporters of losing political party after the election are still continuing in Palnadu hence the locals of these villages seeking the eradication of heedless and the barbaric tradition which is social evil to the society.
Gurazala DSP R. Srihari Babu adopted Atmakur village of Gurazala mandal, Gurazala town SI O. Durga Prasad adopted Pulipadu village of Dachepalli mandal, Gurazala rural CI B. Koteswara Rao adopted Mutyalampadu of Dachepalli mandal, Macharla rural CI P. Bhakatavatsala Reddy adopted Jangamaheswarapadu of Durgi mandal and Gurazla town SI B. Balakrishna Daida-Telukutla of Gurazala mandal.
Similarly Dachepalli-1 police station SI A. Madhu Pawan adopted Tangeda of Dachepalli mandal, Dachepalli-2 SI M. Ramana adopted Ramapuram, Karempudi SI G. Ravikrishna adopted Petasannegandla of Karempudi mandal, Rentachintala SI K. Suman adopted Rantala of Renatachintala mandal, Macharla rural SI R. Udayalakshmi adopted Khambampadu of Macharla, Veldurthy SI V. Kalagaiah adopted Gangalakunta of Veldurthy mandal, Durgi SI D. Sivanagaraju adopted Adigoppula of Durgi mandal, Nagarjuna Sagar SI K. Paul Ravindar adopted Pasuvemula of Macharla mandal, Macharla town CI C. Rajeswara Rao adopted 23 ward of Macharla town, Piduguralla CI Rattaiah adopted Pinnelli and Macharla town SI M Mohan adopted 7 ward of Macharla town.
Similarly, police officials adopting rest of 40 villages out of total 56 faction in coming days in Palnadu faction villages.
