Drainage water overflows in Maa Santoshi Colony
We, the residents of Maa Santoshi colony, Phase 1, are suffering immensely as drainage water is overflowing in our colony from the past one month. Despite many complains made to the officials of GHMC, Alwal, no one has bothered to even visit the place, despite malaria and dengue fever being on rise. Many children play here and there is a high chance of them to contacting dangerous viral fevers. We request the concerned authorities to take immediate action.

Water Lodge and civic maintenance in Manikonda
This is the lane opposite Parthiba High School (first left), Sriramnagar Colony, Manikonda. After laying new roads, authorities have left the holes and points in a terrible manner as can be seen. Rainwater has accumulated in these holes has become a breeding ground, a source of health problems like dengue and malaria. None of the officials are bothered to fix it. It has become an existential crisis now for us, the residents, with many people in nearby area suffering from viral fevers, especially children kids suffering from it.

Contaminated water supplied for over a year
In April last year, the authorities undertook a road-widening exercise in our locality, during which, our drinking water supply pipeline was disconnected. There was no supply of water to our lane for nearly four months. After frequent complaints to the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB), the water pipeline was reconnected some time ago. We were aghast that from when the water supply was restored, we have been getting contaminated water which is unfit for human consumption.
From then on, we have written many letters to Cantonment Board officials regarding this issue, but till date no action has been taken. Contaminated water is being supplied for nearly more than a year.
We had tried our best to reach level of official at the SCB to get this issue resolved, but all our efforts has gone in vain.
Even our ward member has personally checked the water supply and assured that it would be resolved within a week, but the issue still persists.
I request help so people in our locality can get drinking water supplied to them which is fit for human consumption, and safe.

Azampura chaman condition worsens further
The civic conditions in Azampura chaman under the Malakpet constituency have gone from bad to worse. We witness some development works in adjacent localities, under the same constituency, but Azampura is being neglected and ill-treated since long.
There is garbage strewn around, mounds of debris have collected in and around the chaman, and now, more people continue to hurl and dispose stuff from useless wood, carts, pipes and what not, blocking the road. This has now become a haven for vagrants, and anti-social elements, who huddle up and conduct day-long conferences roadside.
We have also, mysteriously, stayed completely invisible to the GHMC’s beautification drives, wherein in some other parts of the city, they improve corners, junctions and select other points for improvement, and adding an urban aesthetic but are alas, too insignificant; and since no one very important might visit here, ignored. I request ministry of municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD), especially the GHMC wing, to clear the garbage on a war-footing, and select this important circle to make it beautiful; so that we stop feeling like secondary citizens of our city.

Gandhi Hospital, please clear my pending bills
I am a 72-year-old pensioner. I had submitted my medical reimbursement bill pertaining to a surgery on June 26 to Gandhi Hospital for scrutiny and sanction of expenditure incurred (Reference: Inward No 5088). It is almost two months since my bill is pending clearance. On personal inquiry, I was told that not just mine, but several bills are pending for want of doctors’ approval, who were on strike. Since the doctors have called off their strike, I request the superintendent of the hospital to kindly clear the bills early.
It will not be out of place to mention here that government employees and pensioners, whose bills are pending, are in the dark about the status of their bills and get no updates, till they visit the concerned scrutinizing authorities, which causes senior citizens lots of additional hardship, especially after a surgery or major health issue. To mitigate such hardship, the government should launch a digital app, through which patients can be informed of the status of their bills.
The Telangana state government has digitized many services to facilitate life of common man to avail sops, so why not this?

GHMC doesn’t clear the garbage at Kamalapuri
I am a resident of Kamalapuri Colony, Phase 3. Garbage is dumped adjacent to my house which is increasing in size everyday, as people in our neighbourhood are throwing more trash there. Despite my repeated complaints, including through the MYGHMC app, they are falsely closing the complaints claiming the issue has been resolved, but the situation has not changed at all.

Waste not cleared from Durganagar, Punjagutta
After the Ganesha festival is over, the waste and litter created by the festivities have not been lifted. It has become an eyesore, especially after it rains. It is dirty and unhealthy – waste littered on road, with heavy stink pervading all round. We request the GHMC authorities to get it cleaned immediately.

Horrible facilities on the Hyderabad-Ajmer Express
The Indian Railways is playing an important role and putting lot of focus on giving maximum facilities for commuters. The railways are running express trains between Hyderabad to Ajmer, which is very welcome, but there is no facility for a pantry car in this train. Such long-distance travelling trains, a journey spread over a day, and yet no facilities of three time meals is really ridiculous. I request the authorities to immediately introduce a pantry car in all express trains that run between Hyderabad and Ajmer. Additionally, there are no ‘premium’ trains available on this route. I request the Indian Railways to ply a Hum Safar Express between Hyderabad and Ajmer, at least twice a week, to cater to the large number of people who travel between these two stations.

Exploiting child labour, openly
I believe that this place, which I allege is illegally occupied by a horse runner, is running a child labour racket. In the past, there used to be an anganwadi school here, which has now been illegally occupied by this horse runner, who runs his business by exploiting child labour. If there was a school nearby, at least these children might have studied there. But no government official is bothered about it. I have made several complaints but neither do officials act against this illegal business, rescue the child labour, nor even visit to check.

Saibaba temple-Kapra lake road needs repair
The road from the Yellareddyguda Saibaba temple crossroad towards Anuraag special school, Janapriya, Silver Crest villas and the Kapra lake is in a very bad condition. Since school buses of many schools, including the Zee School, Noble School and Vijaya School, and ambulances of Lifeline Hospital pass through this road, which is full of potholes, it is putting the lives and safety of kids, and patients, at risk.
From its response to our complaints, it appears the GHMC does not feel responsible for the proper upkeep of roads, nor does it wish to solve problems by laying cement or BT roads. Are we paying huge taxes to GHMC? Is it expecting too much if we seek better roads?
We request the officials to repair this road at the earliest before any untoward accident happens on this road that must be a claimant of the title, ‘worst road of the city’.

Fever Hospital needs to be relocated
There is a big open nala in the side of the Fever Hospital, and opposite, lies an overflowing dustbin. Any patient admitted even with normal fever has every possibility of getting malaria, chikanguniya or the dreadful dengue due to mosquito bite which breed in these two deplorable ‘accessories’ the hospital is suffering from. The Telangana health department has been very casual, even negligent, in handling public health. It is better to shift this hospital to a more hygienic place to keep epidemic diseases under control.

Updating Aadhaar card is very difficult
We are facing huge problems in getting changes incorporated and making updates into our Aadhaar card. We facing lots of difficulties in this issue because these changes can be done only select Mee Seva centres. Previously, the Mee Seva centre in our area could do it and we could get our changes incorporated easily.
Now, we have been informed that the permission to private agencies running these centres cannot do updates in Aadhaar card anymore. This facility stands cancelled for all private Mee Seva centres.
We request the government to kindly restore this system and empower more and private-run Mee Seva centres to update Aadhaar card, so that users of this ubiquitous national ID card can avoid inconveniences.

Jiaguda witnesses Drunkards’ nuisance
Several groups of drunkards settle down near the Puranapul in our area to publicly consume alcohol on the road sides. They are posing serious risks and embarrassment for nearby residents, especially women. These drunkards don’t stop at harassing young girls either. Please protect us.

Hyderabad becoming increasingly ugly
The city of Hyderabad is languishing, with bad roads, chaotic traffic and dirty streets. No minister seems to be interested in undertaking padayatras or making street visits to tone up the administration. The MLAs, after winning the polls, have lost interest too. Both the elected corporators and officials of GHMC, especially the higher-level IAS officials, are missing and seldom seen in the city. Even the opposition seldom raises civic problems. Before the GHMC elections, municipal administration minster K.T. Rama Rao had made presentations and promised that billions of dollars would be invested to improve infrastructure in the city. What we have is pathetic roads, filled with potholes, craters, no markings, and outdated traffic systems. The RTC buses are in a dilapidated run-down condition.
Residential colonies present an even worse picture. Dug roads, broken pipe lines, malfunctioning water and drainage links, mud and slush, mosquito breeding grounds and stray dogs. Is this the beautiful Hyderabad we were promised?

Tree in Mallakrijuna Colony may fall any time during storm
We, the residents and families of Mallakrijuna Colony, Road no. 4, Old Bowenpally, are very worried because of a tree which is hanging loosely and may fall anytime. Whenever rains or wind come, all colony families are in dread of going out because this tree may fall anytime. We need your help in getting the tree, which is huge, removed from our rather small lane. Since last year onwards, we have lodged several complaints with the GHMC. Till today, however, no officer has visited to understand the problem. I request GHMC officers to inspect our lane, and end this hanging problem, before any incident occurs.

Offcials cheating on GHMC app
I wish to state my strong viewpoint and response to the explanation offered by the GHMC officials that they are carrying out fogging operations upon complaints given by residents. On the contrary, they are closing complaints without giving a satisfactory reply and answer, resorting to cheating.
I am enclosing three screenshots (reply to my complaint by on GHMC mobile app) given by entomologist, Anil Kumar, GHMC, Malkajgiri division.
1. ‘Fogging is carried once in a month, pls check with RWAs. This reply to my query to provide dates so that I can verify if fogging took place. It is a lie. They have covered my area once in a month.
2. Second reply says that fogging is not a solution and causes cancer.
The GHMC must re-look at its app as the staffers are resorting to several wrongdoings in operations to show a closure of complaints without actually doing anything. Things are not transparent, complainants are being closed by giving vague and irrelevant replies.

Act against Hayathnagar MRO for land record malpractices
Certain persons in the Mandal Revenue Office (MRO) of Hayatnagar in Ranga Reddy district, have turned land grabbers or are helping them. These persons collude with the land grabbers and tamper with revenue records, thereby victimising the real pattadars.
This victimisation of pattadars is at an acme in Kuntloor, which was earlier in the Hayathnagar mandal but has now been brought under the Abdulapurmet mandal. Despite several complaints being made to the collector's office, Ranga Reddy district, no action has been taken to protect the real pattadars and punish land grabbers at Kuntloor.
The staet government should take stringent action against such officials of the Hayatnagar office for tampering revenue records. Action should also be taken against the unresponsive and lackadaisical attitude of the collector office, RR district, who don’t even acknowledge, let alone respond, to complaints of such serious nature made by genune pattadars.

Clear fallen branches off road
I daily travel from Neredmet to Lothkunta via the army area crossing monuments like the eagle chowk, army school, President’s bungalow gate, and army canteen. This is a road through which lots of people travel from different area of the city. Most of trees are very old. Last week, it rained heavily, so several branches, which were dead, fell down on the road. Fortunately, no one was killed or hurt because the rainfall occurred at late night. But the debris of fallen branches is still there. I request the SCB and GHMC to clear it.

GHMC, clean your own Sultan Bazaar office
The GHMC building, Sultan Bazaar, near the CBI building, best exemplify the inefficiency and indifference of the Municipal body. The situation around the building is horrible, and never improves.
The garbage bin outside their office is a dumping yard – you can see garbage dumped into carts, the building’s drainage pipe overflowing; and this has been the situation from last five to six years.

Begin promised allowance scheme
As per the 2018 elections manifesto, the Chief Minister was kind enough to increasing the retirement age of government employees to 61 years, increased from the previous limit of 58 years.
The unemployment in the state is grim and there are few to no opportunities for the youth, despite possessing good qualifications. In the same election manifesto, the TRS party had assured of sanctioning an amount of Rs 3,016 per month to un-employed youth of Telangana if they come to power. I request Chief Minister to immediately sanction unemployment allowance as assured during elections to help unemployed youth.
