'Tiranga Rally' with 77-m flag held in Hanamkonda

Warangal: As many as 500 people including school students and youth celebrated the 77th Independence Day by taking out a Tiranga Rally with a 77-metre-long national flag from Pranay Bhaskar Marg to Adalath junction in Hanamkonda on Tuesday.

The participants raised slogans like Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Jai Hind during the rally, which was held under the leadership of BRS party corporator Dasyam Abhinav Bhaskar, the son of former minister late Pranay Bhaskar.

Abhinav Bhaskar said that the Tiranga rally was held to remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters as a tribute to them and to develop patriotism and national integration among the youth.

He called upon the youth to come forward to enter politics to transform the country. To develop patriotism and national integration among them, a Tiranga rally was held with a 77 meters long national flag, he added.
