Warangal: Intinta Innovator stall is Independence Day showstopper

WARANGAL: The ‘Intinta Innovator’ stall set up as part of the Independence Day celebrations at the Police Parade Grounds in Hanamkonda turned out to be the showstopper with visitors thronging the stall in large numbers to witness some of the inventions made to help society with day to day issues.

Five innovators from Warangal who accomplished the mission of addressing the issues faced by common man, showcased their solutions.

Mupparapu Raju’s solar mobile phone charger helps people to charge their mobile phones free of cost any time. SR Engineering College students’ team comprising Kota Nithiksha, Kukkala Nagaraju, Kurla Sai Kumar and Madishetty Mahathi built a device which tests soil and displays the suitable crop for the soil and the amount of fertiliser required.

Yakar Ganesh displayed how the low cost device he built helps the hearing impaired persons overcome their disability. A website ‘vdezi.com’ helps entrepreneurs sell their products abroad with facilities like warehouse and tracking the goods was also showcased.

The Warangal Urban district collector Prashant J. Patil said “Any person can come up with an innovation that helps people in daily life. One does not think of a scientist when we talk about innovators. Making innovators part of the Independence Day celebrations and set up an exclusive stall for budding innovators to display their talent.”

Minister for panchayat raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao said the aim was to encourage people irrespective of their age and profession to showcase their innovative talent.

The government has made Intinta Innovator a part of I-Day celebration this year.

The campaign is to make people believe in their capability and work towards entrepreneurship, he asserted.

Intinta Innovator is a campaign taken up by the Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) in collaboration with Startup India under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion for Startup India Telangana Yatra.
