Telangana High Court to allow efiling by yearend, says CJ

Addressing a gathering after hoisting the national flag to mark the 73rd Independence Day.

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan hoped that the Centre would respond in a positive way very soon to the proposal to enhance the sanctioned strength of judges in the court from 24 to 42.

Addressing a gathering after hoisting the national flag to mark the 73rd Independence Day, Justice Chauhan said that after the constitution of the Telangana High Court, the infrastructure and facilities had been improved and the people were better served from the judicial side.

The CJ said arrangements were in place to make available the approved judgments copies online within 24 hours of the verdict being delivered, He said preparations were underway to introduce e-filing by the end of the year.
