Hyderabad: To help teachers in conducting the action research to address educational issues, NCERT has started an online course in action research in education.
The online course is developed for teachers at elementary level, working in district institutes of education and training, state councils of educational research and training and state institutes of education.
The course aims at assisting them in conducting In-service Teacher Profess-ional Development (ITPD) in action research. The course will provide the conceptual understanding abo-ut the action research.
The participants are expected to prepare a proposal on action research in their respective areas of work. This duration of the course is seven weeks with five modules and each module will be discussed per week. The participants are expected to study for two hours per week.
Teachers with research background and persons with knowledge of computers are eligible to join the course.
