K Chandrasekhar Rao, Chandrababu Naidu meet, talk state issues
HYDERABAD: TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao held closed-door discussions with his AP counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu for over one-and-a-half hours at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
Govenor E.S.L. Narasimhan took both the Chief Ministers for the one-on-one meeting that took place after the conclusion of the traditional ‘At Home’.
According to sources, the two leaders discussed several contentious issues involving bifurcation like employees’ transfers, handing over the Secretariat and other unused buildings in Hyderabad to the TS government and also the Schedule Ninth and Tenth institutions etc.
The Governor’s ‘At Home’ was also graced by Union ministers Bandaru Dattatreya and Y. Sujana Chowdary, former Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and ministers and dignitaries from both the states. Badminton coach Pullela Gopichand and former cricketer V.V.S. Laxman were also present.
