Jagan Mohan Reddy celebrates I-Day, hoists Tricolour in Nandyal
ANANTAPUR: YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy hoisted the Tricolour on Tuesday at the Bommala Satram Centre in Nandyal in Kurnool district. Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy who is currently camping at Nandyal for the past seven days as part of election campaign for the Nandyal Assembly election chose to celebrate the Independence Day at a colony in Nandyal town.
Nandyal Assembly bypolls have become a prestige issue for both the parties, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is concentrating on campaigning in Nandyal in a bid to beat the ruling Telugu Desam. Accompanied by the election candidate Silpa Mohan Reddy and other party leaders, the YSRC chief hoisted the National Flag at Bommala Sairam in Nandyal town with party workers and general public present on the occasion. Mr Reddy extended his greetings to everyone on the occasion.
On Tuesday, which is the seventh day of his stay in Nandyal, Mr Reddy covered Nunepalli Flyover, Kovelakuntla Junction, Boggu Line, Gandhinagar, SC Colony, Gandhinagar Chowrasta, Islampet, and other places. Mulasagaram Sivalayam Circle, Viswasapuram, Gnanapuram Colony, YS Prabhudas Reddy Street, Tobacco company and other areas.
Roja participates in I-day rally at Puttur:
Nagiri legislature R.K. Roja participated in a rally along with the students on the occasion of Independence Day in Puttur on Tuesday. The students from ZP High School, Puttur participated in the rally carrying a 771 feet long National Flag. Earlier Roja celebrated the Independence Day celebrations in the ZP high school premises along with the girl students.
