TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was forced to call up both Kesineni Srinivas and Buddha Venkanna after their spat left the party embarrassed.
Vijayawada: The ongoing war over Twitter between TD MLC Buddha Venkanna and party MP Kesineni Srinivas ‘Nani’ turned bitter on Monday.
The war of words began on Sunday when Mr Srinivas referring to Mr Venkanna had tweeted that “a person who cannot read or write beyond few words is actually tweeting, which is most unfortunate.”
To this Mr Venkanna tweeted what the TD needed was someone who would fight for the party, “A person who joins forces with the opposition parties was dangerous,” he said. He said the party did not need the likes of Mr Srinivas.
On Monday, the MP came back on Twitter and offered to resign from the party if TD president N Chandrababu Naidu failed to tame his “pet dog”.
