The Speaker may ask Mr Reddy to meet him on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on his convenience.
Bengaluru: BTM Layout Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy did not appear before Speaker K.R. Ramesh Kumar as expected on Monday to explain the reasons for his resignation.
Mr Reddy, who had resigned on July 6 along with other Congress and JD(S) MLAs, was summoned by the Speaker to explain if he had tendered his resignation voluntarily or under duress.
The Speaker may ask Mr Reddy to meet him on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on his convenience. When contacted, Mr Reddy said he may appear before the Speaker in a day or two as there was no urgency.
