Thiruvananthapuram: LSGD minister A.C. Moideen will head the mega file adalat to be held on Wednesday at 11.30 am. LSGD Additional Chief Secretary T.K. Jose and representatives of various departments including revenue, regional town planning, fire and rescue services and Kerala coastal zone regulatory authority would take part in the file adalat to be held at the corporation office. Mayor, deputy mayor, standing committee chairman would also take part in the adalat. So far the civic body has received around 150 applications relating to occupancy, building permits etc.
The town planning adalat organised by the city corporation on Monday settled 94 applications relating to occupancy certificate and 24 building permit applications. The adalat received a total of 146 applications.
Mayor V.K. Prasanth, inaugurating the adalat, said that the corporation staffs are responsible to deliver services to the public without any delay. He said that the civic body will take serious action against officials who delay the processing of application deliberately.
The mayor urged the public to raise complaints and bring the issue to the notice of the authorities.
Around 14 applications received at the adalat would be considered in the next adalat on Thursday to be chaired by LSGD Minister A.C. Moideen.
