Reconsider award to Radha Mohan: Writer Pattukottai Prabhakar

Chennai: Popular Tamil writer Pattukottai Prabakar has protested against the Best Scriptwriter (for 2011) award announced for film director Radha Mohan for the film Payanam and urged the state government to reconsider it.

In a petition to CM Palaniswami, Prabakar urged the government to reconsider the decision and alleged that his work has been plagiarised by Radha Mohan. “I am not able to bear it. This has given me mental agony. No doubt that he is a good writer. But those who have seen Payanam will understand that it is my story,” he said. He posted a copy of the petition on Facebook and appealed for support.
