Narendra Modi doppelganger was boarding train to Bengaluru
Bengaluru: For everyone left wondering who the Narendra Modi lookalike in the pic was, that Mumbai based comedy group All India Backchod (AIB) used, alongside a picture of Modi's face with the Snapchat dog filter, using the hashtag #Wanderlust, with a dog's ears and a snout superimposed on his face, it was of Payyanur native M.P. Ramachandran.
Mumbai cyber police on Friday filed an FIR against AIB co-founder Tanmay Bhat for the pic, "insulting" Modi.
Mr Ramachandran, with his full white beard which he plans to shave off and a little more portly than our prime minister, was photographed peering into his phone just before he boarded a train to Bengaluru to meet his son.
The picture has since gone viral.
Ever since Mr Modi became prime minister, the 61 year old's been stopped by complete strangers everywhere, pestered for selfies.
Ramachandran, thus far is in select company. Until the beard comes off, he will have three known Modi doppelgangers. Vikas Mahante from Mumbai's Malad locality, Abhinandan Pathak, who contested from Varanasi against the BJP.
And one other Modi lookalike in Nagpur, who cut a cake on the PM's 66th birthday this year.
