KCR a rare leader, says KT Rama Rao

Rama Rao said that the country was expressing wonder on the development programmes being taken up by the government of TS.

Khammam: Representatives of ten IT companies which will be starting their units in Khammam were allocated space in the proposed IT Hub.

The representatives of the tech firms said that they are eager to start their units in the IT Hub after receiving the sanction letters on Thursday.

Addressing a public meeting in Khammam, information technology minister said that employment generation will get a boost with the coming up of the IT Hub in Khammam. “Subsidiary IT units will come up in Khammam and it will help the youth. Thousands of jobs will be created,” he said, adding that IT Hub is proof of the commitment of TRS government towards the people.

Mr Rama Rao said that the country was expressing wonder on the development programmes being taken up by the government of TS.

“About 40 lakh people are being given pensions worth Rs 5,390 crore. The TRS government is the only government that considered pensions like ‘Ontari Mahila’. About 1.5 lakh women are being given pensions under the scheme,” he said.

“Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is a rare leader; nobody ruled like him earlier,” Mr Rama Rao said.

He said that drinking water will be supplied to every household in the state through Mission Bhagiratha.

“Telangana is witnessing unprecedented development. The government is working overtime for the people, and overcoming various problems and issues day in and day out,” Mr Rama Rao said.
