AIIMS entrance: Three from Bengaluru in top 100
Bengaluru: City-based student Sankeerth Sadananda of BASE has bagged all-India rank of 27 in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) admission tests, the results of which was announced on Thursday.
Two other students Anshika Gupta (56th rank) of National Public School, Indiranagar and Santhosh Rengaraj (73) of Sri Kumaran Children’s Home, figured in the top hundred ranks. Sankeerth said he believes the environment around one contributes to what and where one ends up.
“People around me have influenced a lot . I have been preparing for NEET majorly, but AIIMS was something that I thought which was far out of my reach,” he said. Though he made it to the top 20 rank in almost all other entrance tests he has appeared for, he wants to join AIIMS Delhi.
