Hyderabad: GHMC officials have spread out in strength to inspect a few divisions across the city. For inspections at Gaddiannaram division in Saroornagar circle, the east zone officials took off on bicycles to inspect the roads of Gaddiannaram. During their tour, the officials fined three commercial outlets of Rs 5,000 each for laying construction material on road.
The officials had decided to shift the utilities on the busy P&T Colony Road at three places. Also, at 4 places, manholes were found to be above road level.
One water stagnation point was noticed at Kamalanagar, and the problem was attended to. Restoration of BT roads will be carried out at Sharada Theatre for 800 metres; Ramalayam Road 1.5 km and from the graveyard to the Shubodaya College —700 metres.
Also, the CC Road at Lalithanagar is being repaired. The outcome of the inspection at Charminar was that a She-toilet was installed. The officials have also taken up road repair works in the division.
