Kathua rape case, candle light vigil for victim

Known to raise their voice against social causes for justice, members of the Kovai-based club organised the candle light vigil.

Coimbatore: Members of the Coimbatore Bikers Club and the general public gathered in huge numbers and participated in a candle light vigil here on Sunday at Race Course road, demanding justice for rape victims, the eight-year-old girl from Kathua, and the teenage girl from Unnao.

Speaking to DC on the sidelines of the event Al Ameen, founder and managing trustee of the club said, “apart from organizing several biking events, our members have come together to fight various social causes. On the cards we plan to raise our voice in support of the farmers.”

Known to raise their voice against social causes for justice, members of the Kovai-based club organised the candle light vigil demanding that the accused in both the cases are given harsh punishment so that a repeat of such incidents does not occur.
