Hyderabad: MBT leader Amjedullah Khan has filed another complaint against BJP MLA Raja Singh, accusing him of providing weapons training to youngsters at Rahimpura Grounds.

The complaint followed a video surfacing on YouTube, that allegedly shows Raja Singh overseeing youngsters showing off their swordsmanship skills.

In his complaint, the MBT leader alleged that the weapon training was given by the MLA to intimidate other communities and disrupt communal harmony in the city.

However Mangalhat police, who received the complaint, has not registered any case so far. “We are still verifying how old the video is. An inquiry has been launched. We are yet to book an FIR,” said an official from Mangalhat police.

“Recently in an interview to the BBC, the MLA clearly supported the gau rakshaks who killed a dairy farmer in north India. Not just that, he also said that he will slit the throats of anyone who opposes constructing of Ram Mandir or obstructs it construction. Such kind of provocative and hate speeches damage the secular fabric of India. He has developed a sense of impunity because the law enforcement agencies are showing connivance and have failed to take action against him,” said Khan in his complaint.
