Mysuru: A 13-year-old boy suffered severe head injuries after he fell from a government school building at Paduvarahalli in Jayalakshmipuram police limits here on Saturday. He has been admitted to a hospital here.
The boy, Arun, studies in the seventh standard in the same school. He is the son of Kumar, an auto driver and a resident of Paduvarahalli. The school is closed for summer vacation, and Arun was playing cricket with his friends near the school. When the ball fell on the school terrace, which has steps, he went up to retrieve the ball. While climbing down, accidentally fell from a height of around 20 feet and suffered the head injuries.
