Hyderabad: Even as the Congress continued to reel under the shock by the successful implementation of “Operation Akarshan” by the ruling TRS, the latest ‘catch’ being Makthal MLA Chittam Ram Mohan Reddy, minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Friday gave it another jolt, saying that more of the Opposition party’s MLAs will switch sides soon.
From the 21 MLAs after the 2014 general elections, the Congress now has only 14 left. A senior Congress leader said if party’ strength goes below 12, it stands the risk of losing the main Opposition status.
