Delhi: Odd-even kicks off with 1,300 challans

The first challan of the day was issued at ITO intersection in central Delhi at around 9 am.

New Delhi: Over 1,300 persons were penalised for violating the odd-even car rationing on the first day of its second phase’s implementation in the national capital on Friday.

The highest number of challans was recorded in the southern part of the city, followed by west and central Delhi. Around a hundred persons were challaned in the Lutyens’ zone, officials said. The first challan of the day was issued at ITO intersection in central Delhi at around 9 am.
