Telangana crosses 40°C first time this season

The maximum temperatures would be in the range of 36°C to 41°C.

Hyderabad: The mercury crossed the 40ºC mark in the state for the first time this season according to the TS Development Planning Society.

Gollapalle in Jagtial recorded 40.3ºC and was the warmest place in the state followed by Jammikunta (Karimnagar), Ramagundam (Pedda-palli), Pembi (Nirmal) at 40.2ºC. Mustabad in Rajanna-Siricilla district, Dondapadu (Suryapet), Jaina (Jagtial), Kaddam Peddur (Nirmal) and Khanapur (Nirmal) recorded 40.1ºC and Koratpalle (Nizamabad) 40ºC

Weather experts said that day would remain dry for next three days and maximum and minimum temperatures would be up to 3ºC above normal at a few places, mainly over Adilabad, Kumrambheem-Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalle, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Khammam and Nalgonda districts.

The maximum temperatures would be in the range of 36ºC to 41ºC and the minimum temperatures 21ºC to 25ºC for next the three days.

In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature is expected to be in the range of 35ºC to 38ºC and the night temperatures 23ºC to 25ºC
