Bengaluru: A 24-year-old man, who went missing two days ago, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Mahadevpura police limits.
The youngster, identified as Suresh, hailed from KGF and was staying at a rented house in Uday Nagar.
Suresh came to the city a year ago and worked a cash collector for a local finance firm. On Tuesday morning, Suresh left his house to never return.
His friend, who found Suresh missing and not answering phone calls for two days, filed a missing complaint with the police on Thursday. But before going to the police, he heard people in the neighborhood complaining about a foul smell in the area.
When people checked, they found Suresh’s body. The Mahadevpura police were informed about the incident after which they rushed to the spot and conducted the inquest.
Though a mystery surrounds his death, the police suspect a financial reason behind the death.
During the investigation, the police found that Suresh had left his mobile phone and other belongings at home. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
