N Chandrababu Naidu wishes to lead southern Tsunami'
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu wishes to lead a “Southern Tsunami”. Pawan Kalyan’s scathing remarks and allegations regarding the TD government have prompted Mr Naidu to seek dialogue with prominent leaders of the south Indian states. He is expected to meet with leaders like Kamal Haasan in the next couple of days.
Mr Naidu has called Mr Kalyan’s attack on the TD rule “BJP’s northern political conspiracy”. He believes that the BJP wants to diminish the “southern strength” by attacking leaders like him through the agency of popular movie star and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. The CM is amazed that the-re was no mention of YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy’s one lakh crore corruption sc-andal in Mr Kalyan’s speech. He believes that the BJP has taken Pawan Kalyan and Jagan Mohan Reddy into its fold. He has told members of his Cabinet that the script for Mr Kalyan’s speech was prepared at the BJP headquarters.
The BJP also equally gave a response to the TD, by posing a question as to how the TD violates the alliance dharma. Mr Naidu has shared with members of his Cabinet that he thinks the BJP wants to play politics in Andhra Pradesh, just as it has done in Tamil Nadu after the demise of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. “It is all an attempt to weaken strong leadership in the South,” the CM has reportedly observed. He believes that the Centre is threatened by the presence of a leader as strong as him.
The CM has stated that the BJP wants to dismantle the strength of the Telugus using Pawan and Jagan as its weapons. He has reportedly explained to senior ministers and leaders that now is not the time to lose patience. He has also asked partymen to remain wary of Pawan and Jagan’s moves.
