Vijayawada: 2,000 students reach IIIT for Techno fest
Vijayawada: The three-day national-level techno-management fest ‘Teckzite-2k19’ began at the IIIT-Nuzvid at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies campus on Friday.
Around 2,000 students from across the country are participating in the fest, a pointer to the efforts of the students and college staff.
Speaking on the occasion, IIIT academic dean B. Prasad said that for the overall development of the students these kinds of programmes are essential. RGUKT convener B. Venkateswarlu said that to develop knowledge such fests would help students of all branches.
He said that many events are planned that would attract the students who have come for the three-day fest, naming Hackathon, Robo war, Qbotics and other events.
The organisers have announced prizes worth Rs7 lakh for outstanding students.
Besides, a workshop on electronic and communications, machine learning, machine learning tutor, advanced automobile technology and hybrid vehicle dynamics and designing are among the programmes listed for the first day.
