Thiruvananthapuram: In view of the Pongala Mahotsavam on February 20 at Attukal Bhagavathy Temple, special trains will be run and other special arrangements made as detailed below.
On February 19 a special train will run from Kollam Jn to Thiruvana-nthapuram Central. The train will leave Kollam at 2.15 p.m. and reach city at 4.30 p.m. On February 20, another train to Thiruvananthapuram will leave from Kollam Jn at 4 a.m. and reach here at 5:55 a.m. A third special train will leave.
Thiruvananthapuram central at 3.30 p.m. to reach Kollam at 5.30 p.m. A fourth special train from Thiruvananthapu-ram central will depart at 4.15 p.m. to reach Kollam at 6.15 p.m.
The train will stop at Iravipuram, Mayyanad, Paravur, Kappil, Edavai, Varkala, Akathumuri, Kadakavur, Chirayinke-ezh, Perunguzhi, Muruk-kampuzha, Kaniyapur-am, Kazhakuttam, Veli, Kochuveli and Thiruvananthapuram Pettah.
On February 20, a special train will leave from Kochuveli at 4.30 p.m. towards Nagercoil Jn. The train will operate at the timings of 56315 Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil passenger.
Train No. 56317 Kochuveli-Nagercoil Jn passenger scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 11.40 a.m. will be rescheduled to leave Kochuveli at 1.45 p.m. late by 2 hour 5 minutes on January 20 to cater to Pongala rush.
Train No. 56315 Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil passenger scheduled to depart from Thiruvananthapuram central at 5.10 p.m. will be rescheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram central at 3 p.m., early by 2 hour 10 minues to cater to Pongala rush.
Train No 16649 Man-galore – Nagercoil Jn Parasuram Express will st-op at Mayyanad, Kadakavur and Chirayinkeezh stations.
Train No 16345 Lokmanyatilak-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express will stop at Paravur, Kadakavur and Chirayinkeezh stations. Train No 17230 Hyderabad -Thiruvananthapur-am Sabari Express will stop at Paravur, Kadakavur, Chirayinkeezh and Murukkampuzha stations.
Train No 16605 Mangalore - Nagercoil Jn Ernad Express will stop at Paravur, Kadakavur, Chirayinkeezh stations. Train No 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Exp-ress will stop at Parassala.
Train No 12511 Gorakpur-Thiruvanant-hapuram Express will stop at Paravur, Varkala, Kadakkavur, Chirayinkeezh on February 19.
