Opposition is trying to tarnish PM's image: BJP
Nellore: BJP national general secretary Y. Satya Kumar has alleged that the opposition was attempting to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Rafale deal for political gain because of the ensuing elections although there were no grounds to level the charges.
Speaking to media persons at BJP office in Nellore on Friday, he said all the leaders who were criticising BJP and the PM were accused in one case or other. Mr Kumar ridiculed them for forming Maha Kutami.
He advised the ministers of TD to remember that all the welfare programmes being implemented by AP were backed by the Centre. He told them that they should not forget that they won the 2014 elections because of the support of Mr Modi.
Mr Kumar said that TD was targeting the BJP because of its fear of being exposed for its lar-ge scale corruption and its rampant worry over their political future.
Mr Kumar credited the Vice-President for the establishment of thermal power projects producing 6500 MW in Nellore.
Mr Kumar has alleged that TD is the only party in the country to buy legislators from another party (YSRC) and give them ministerial berths. He said there was no history of TD winning the elections without any alliance and predicted the debacle of the party in the ensuing elections.
He said TD leaders and and its chief Mr Naidu had suddenly started praising Vice-President because of realisation over impending defeat.
Condemning the attack against CRPF jawans at Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday night, he said the time has come for the terrorists to pay heavily for targeting soldiers.
