CM K Chandrasekhar Rao birthday to be a grand affair

It is for the first time since assuming office in June 2014 that CM's birthday will be celebrated on a grand scale.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s birthday will be celebrated in a grand manner on February 17 at Jala Vihar. Ministers, MLAs and MPs of the TRS have been invited to participate in the celebrations being organised by minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. It is for the first time since assuming office in June 2014 that CM’s birthday will be celebrated on a grand scale. Blood donation camps, the distribution of tricycles to the physically-challenged, and the distribution of saris have been planned.

Mr Yadav visited Jala Vihar on Thursday to review arran-gements for the occasion. He said that cultural programmes would be held there. A cake weighing 64 kg to mark the CM’s 64th birthday will be cut by ministers and TRS leaders. An ayush homam, which will be attended by Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha, will be organised at the Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali Temple.

The foundation stone will be laid for construction of 265 2BHKs for the poor in the Bansilalpet division. Doctors from the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Gandhi Hospital, Osmania Hospital and NIMS will organise mega health camps and blood donation camps. All corporators and local leaders have been asked to organise celebrations and distribute fruits and sweets in their respective areas.
