KCR's actions say he's most corrupt: Palvai Govardhan Reddy
Hyderabad: Accusing the TRS government and the Chief Minister of hiking the revised estimates of Pranahita-Chevella packages to benefit contractors, Congress MP Palvai Govardhan Reddy on Monday said that compared to late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy’s corruption, K. Chandrasekhar Rao had proven himself one up. Addressing the media at the CLP office here, the Congress MP said all the 28 packages under Pranahita-Chevella scheme had been revised on the pretext of “redesigns”. “The work remains the same, though all the contractual values have been doubled,” he said.
“This was to benefit contractors as well as KCR himself,” Mr Govardhan Reddy alleged. He said no all-party meeting was convened as promised by the Chief Minister on redesigning of the packages for the project. “Without consulting the Opposition, estimates have been doubled in order to receive kickbacks,” he alleged.
