Hyderabad: The failure of the GHMC to set up rendering plants to deal with animal waste from the the Chengicharla slaughetrhouse and three others has led to the waste being dumped at the Jawaharnagar dumping yard.

Rendering plants are essential as they crush the remains like bones, blood and meat into powder, which is used to make poultry feed, and also processed food for domestic animals.
