Hyderabad: The failure of the GHMC to set up rendering plants to deal with animal waste from the the Chengicharla slaughetrhouse and three others has led to the waste being dumped at the Jawaharnagar dumping yard.

A source said that tenders were called for the rendering plants by the GHMC and the lowest bidder was given the contract. Work has been delayed because the GHMC not completed the formalities.
