Hyderabad: As many as eight men sustained injuries following a car crash, wherein the SUV they were travelling in rammed into a tree when the driver lost control near Salar Jung Museum in Mirchowk.
According to the police, Kabiruddin Ider, 30, along with six of his friends had gone to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to pick up one Syed Imran Uddin, a known acquaintance who was returning from Iraq.
“The eight men, all residents of Darushifa, were heading back home when a tyre burst of the SUV they were in caused them to collide head-on with a tree near Salar Jung Museum, resulting in external bleeding injuries,” officials from Mirchowk police said, adding that they were shifted to Osmania General Hospital for treatment and a statement was taken from them.
A case was booked under Section 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of IPC against the driver.by the police.
