Youth booked for post on Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao

Ramakrishna had posted a video of the Chief Minister's assembly speech and also commented on the video in a vulgar language.

Hyderabad: A complaint was lodged against a netizen at the Madannapet police station for posting derogatory comments against Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Facebook.

The police said that the petition was filed by Ibrahim, a TRS leader from Madannapet, stating that a person, Ramakrishna, posted derogatory comments against the Chief Minister and insulted him.

“Ramakrishna had posted a video of the Chief Minister’s assembly speech and also commented on the video in a vulgar language,” said the police.

Police said that they are verifying the contents of the complaint.

“The complaint is sent for legal opinion. Based on the legal opinion, we will take necessary action,” said Dharavath Nagesh, inspector of Madannapet.
