Indian kids in the Gulf make Guinness bid

Indian students in the Gulf registered two records in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of ‘National Children’s Day’ (the birth anniversary of the first Indian Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru), Indian students in the Gulf registered two records in the Guinness Book of World Records. In Sharjah, students of an Indian International School demonstrated a big ship and in Jeddah, Indian international students formed a large ‘World Diabetes Logo’. Representatives from the Guinness Book have announced the two events as world records.

Speaking on the occasion, the organising Abir Medical Group said that in order to create awareness over Asthma and Diabetes, the group, along with Indian International Schools, held the events. “About 4,600 students took part in the event organised at Jeddah and 4,882 students in Sharjah,” he said. Indian Consul General Mr. Noor Rahman Sheik, diplomat and prominent journalist Khled Al Minaand others were present at the event.
