Hyderabad: A second-year B.Tech student of DVR Engineering College committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of a building on the campus on Friday morning. V. Vinay Kumar was rushed to a private hospital in Gachibowli where he was declared dead.
Some students said they had retrieved a suicide note from his pocket, which the police took into custody. The students shared the note on social media.
The note written in Telugu and purportedly signed by Vinay Kumar said no one was responsible for his death. He said it was his childhood dream to study in the college, and he was therefore ending his life on its campus.
