ALAPPUZHA: Nadubhagom Chundan rowed by Pallathuruthy Boat Club (Tropical Titans) continued lifted the title of 52nd edition of the Karuvatta Boat Race on Saturday.

Champakulam Chundan paddled by United Boat Club Kainakary (Coast Dominators) finished second and Devas of NCDC Boat Club (Mighty Oars) Kaipuzhamuttu the third.
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala flagged off the race of 13 snake boats, including nine CBL teams, at 2 p.m.
In small boat category, Patteripurakkal reached first in Veppu A and Asha Puluthikalam the second.
The fourth contest in the CBL will be held in Piravom in the Ernakulam district on September 28.
