Hyderabad: More claimants pop up for Raidurg land

MP forged papers for property, say new claimants.

Hyderabad: In an interesting development, two residents of Hyderabad, J. Vinayak Rao and R. Phanendra Kumar, have laid claim to 99.07 acre of land in Raidurg of Serilingampally mandal in Ranga Reddy district – including the 53 acre of Araku MP K. Geetha – that had recently been claimed by the TSIIC.

The two have alleged that Ms Geetha and her family were claiming the land with “fabricated” documents and a probe was going on in this regard. When contacted, the YSRC MP rejected the allegation and said that she had approached the media since the government had tried to take over her land. She asked the latest claimants to move courts.

Mr Vinayak Rao told DC that they hold the General Power of Attorney of the 99.07 acre land with survey No. 83/2, which they had obtained from pattadar Ahmed Aziz, son of late Mohd. Ruknuddin Ahmed of Aziz Bagh, Noorkhan Bazar.

“Kothapalli Geetha Rao alias P. Geetha Rao is falsely claiming in the media that she has won the case in the Supreme Court and is claiming the title through the orders of the Supreme Court. The fact is that P.R.K. Rao or Kothapalli Geetha or Bhavana Coop Housing Society or S. Raj Kumar were never parties in any of the proceedings before the Supreme Court in A.K. Reddy’s case or the title suit which culminated on April 11, 2008 in dismissal of the state’s SLP (Special Leave Petition) of 2008,” Mr Vinayak Rao said.

Rejecting the claim of the MP, he alleged that she and her family were never in possession of the land. “P.R.K. Rao and P. Geetha Rao and their front companies are claiming rights on the said land in survey No. 83/2 Raidurg village through fraudulent sale deeds executed by the Bhavana Coop Housing Society Limited represented by its secretary S. Raj Kumar based on a fabricated and forged agreement of sale dated March 19, 1982 validated by then district registrar, Ranga Reddy in file No. 8309/AR/2006 dated September 11, 2006,” Mr Vinayak Rao said.

“Pahanis from 1990 till date show that Md Ahmed Abdul Aziz s/o late Md Ruknuddin (who died on May 5, 1983) and others as pattadars and khabzedars of the land of 99.07 acre in survey No 83/2, Raidurg," he said.

He alleged Mr P.R.K. Rao and Ms Geetha Rao, with the help of anti-social elements styled as security guards, were continuously trying to disturb “our peaceful enjoyment of the said land and are continuously trying to gain wrongfully by trying to sell the said land based on fraudulent sale deeds held by their front companies”.

Ms Geetha told DC that Mr Vinayak Rao and others were deliberately entering the dispute so that the government takes over the land. “They are going around with fabricated documents and claims. Why were they silent all these years? Let them go to court, not to the media,” she said.
