Andhra Pradesh makes it easy for Telangana students

AP authorities will not ask first year students to pay Rs 1 lakh if they forego their seat and join TS colleges.

HYDERABAD: First year medicos, who joined MBBS through the convener quota in AP medical colleges but also wrote the Eamcet-3 conducted by TS government can attend the MBBS counselling slated for September 17 to 20 here along with their original certificates.

In response to requests from students and parents, the AP government told all medical colleges to hand over original documents to students who apply for them.

NTR Health University Registrar Dr S.Appala Naidu said that students would be given the original certificates, which they have to re-submit in the respective college once TS counselling is completed.

AP authorities will not ask first year students to pay Rs 1 lakh if they forego their seat and join TS colleges. The TS Council for Higher Education has issued instructions to all universities to to provide original certificates to pharmacy students wishing to attend MBBS counselling.
