Thiruvananthapuram: High security ahead of I-Day celebrations

Thiruvananthapuram: The security in the capital has been strengthened on the eve of Independence Day at Central Stadium on Wednesday. Night patrolling and checking of vehicles have been intensified. City Police Commissioner P Prakash will be in charge of the security arrangements at Central Stadium where Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will take the salute at the state level Independence Day parade at 8.30 am. The government institutions were advised to raise flag soon after this.
