Bengaluru: B.L. Santosh, general secretary of BJP for south India, has been appointed BJP national General Secretary(organisation) with immediate effect.
An engineering graduate from Davangere, Mr Santosh quit his job and joined the RSS as a pracharak post the Ram Mandir agitation. He chalked out many programmes to attract youth towards the BJP. Seeing his potential, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had planned to give him a bigger responsibility at the national level.
