Hyderabad: A speeding car in which a family of four was travelling rammed into a tanker on the Outer Ring Road at Keesara on Sunday. The victims survived the crash and were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Keesara inspector J. Naren-der Goud said Shyamsunder, a resident of Nalgonda, his wife Jyothi and daughters Megha-na, a BPharma student, and Gayatri, doing her MBBS at Kyrgyzstan, were going to Ba-sara in the car (AP09 AJ 8815), when the accident took place.
At about 1 pm, when the car came on to the ORR, it rammed into a gas tanker (MH48 AY 4751) from the rear. The four passengers suffered severe injuries. Other drivers informed the police who rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital. The condition of Meghana is said to critical.
