Hyderabad: A teenager was killed late on Friday after being hit by a moving train in Ghatkesar. Adi Reddy, inspector of Secunderabad GRP, identified the deceased as Kaveri Kumari, 17, who might have committed suicide.
“Kaveri was staying with a friend for the past one month. The friend’s house is very close to Ghatkesar railway tracks. She left her friend’s house at 11 pm on Friday and did not come back for a long time,” according to the police official.
Later, her friends and mother found her body near the railway tracks. “Kaveri was allegedly having a distressed relationship and that could be the reason for her death. We are investigating if it is a suicide and what led to her death,” said Mr Reddy.
