Court orders Saroornagar police to register case against Asaduddin Owaisi

The advocat had filed the petition against Mr Owaisi's statement that he would provide legal help to the ISIS suspects arrested by the NIA.

Hyderabad: The XI metropolitan magistrate court on Thursday directed Saroornagar police to register a case against MIM chief and Asaduddin Owaisi following a complaint filed city advocate K, Karunasagar. The advocated had filed the petition against Mr Owaisi’s statement that he would provide legal help to the ISIS suspects arrested by the NIA.

Mr Karunasagar, in his complaint filed with the Saroornagar police stated that the stand of Mr Owaisi was “boosting the morale of anti-nationals and giving oxygen to terrorists.” He alleged that Mr Owaisi was “directly or indirectly” helping the ISIS which had come up with a video in which it had threatened to target India.
