Telangana sports body told to prepare priority list
The investigation into the sports quota scam in medical seats revealed how certain candidates secured certificates in chess. “These candidates de-serve it as they have a high rating. However, in three cases it was found that und-eserving players secured a seat. The association has argued with the Sports Authority-TS to prioritise merit certificates while all-ocating list for sports quota,” TS Chess Assoc-iation member said.
The association holds tournaments under different age categories, (under 7-19 age and under 25).
