PG entrance results declared
Hyderabad: The results for entrance tests for law, post-graduate law and PG engineering courses were declared on Thursday by State Council of Higher Education chairman T. Papi Reddy and Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram.
Of the 12,960 candidates who took Lawcet for the three-year course, 11,563 qualified. The success percentage was 90.59 for men, 85.34 for women and 50 per cent of transgender candidates. For the five year course, 2,401 of 3,727 candidates qualified. A total of 1,829 out of 1,860 candidates qualified for PGLCET. Here, 87.9 per cent men, 80.57 per cent women and 66.65 per cent transgenders crossed the mark.
In all, 11,223 women and 11,238 men were declared eligible in the PG Engineering Common Entrance Test for admission into engineering, technology, architecture, or pharmacy along with graduate level Pharm-D course.
Eligible students can apply at the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University Hyderabad, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakatiya University, Palamuru University, and Osmania University. Seats will be first offered to candidates clearing GATE/GPAT, and to those who cracked the PGECET.
