Andhra Pradesh: Search on for 7 missing fishermen

Rajahmundry: A search and rescue operation involving Coast Guard vessels and an aircraft is on along the east coast for seven fishermen who went missing in on May 30.

The authorities started the search operation. East Godavari collector Karthikeya Misra said three Coast Guard vessels from Kakinada and four from Visakhapat-nam and an aircraft were roped in for the search. The Chennai Coast Guard was requested to look out for the fishermen in their area while ONGC and Reliance were also asked to join the search.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inquired about the search with the collector and asked him to take all necessary measures to trace them.
