Hyderabad: Two killed in separate incidents

In another incident at Narsingi, an AP native who was demolishing a wall died when the debris fell on him.

Hyderabad: Two persons working at construction sites were killed in separate incidents on Tuesday. At Narsingi, a worker died when a wall collapsed as he was carrying out drilling works. In another incident at LB Nagar, a worker died of electrocution.

At LB Nagar, Tirupati Goud, 30, a native of Karimnagar who was working at a construction site was electrocuted. Goud, who was working on the third floor of an under-construction building at Bandlaguda, picked up an iron rod which was about 25-feet long.

The rod accidentally touched electricity wires which were at about 15 feet away and was electrocuted. The other workers at the site informed the police, who booked a case of suspicious death.

In another incident at Narsingi, an AP native who was demolishing a wall died when the debris fell on him. Narsingi SI R. Laxman said that Manoj, 25, a native of Vizianagaram of AP, was working as a drilling machine operator at a construction site. On Tuesday, when Manoj was demolishing a wall made of bricks using a drilling machine, the debris of the wall fell on him. He received injuries bleeding injuries and died on the spot.
