Telangana government allots Rs 106 crore for eye screening
Hyderabad: The government has allotted Rs 106.83 crore for a massive operation to screen 3.5 crore people in the state for refractive errors, cataract, gla-ucoma, eye infections, corneal disorders, diabetic retinopathy and vitamin D deficiency.

The government will record their data so that they can be tracked for follow-up services like distribution of glasses and surgery if required.
