Hyderabad: Police get ready for crime survey
Hyderabad: Amberpet police inspector Anand Kumar conducted an awareness programme on the Samagrula nerastula survey (integrated criminal survey) to be held in the city on Tuesday.
The team involved in the exercise includes Amberpet Police Station officials numbering 25.
On Saturday, the team did a general foot parade from Azaadnagar to Patelnagar in Amberpet area.
The programme was basically an awareness programme regarding the upcoming survey but also included Chabutra Mission vehicle checking and seized 12 bikes which were booked for triple riding, cell phone driving as well as those without proper documents.
“The reason behind this programme was to spread awareness to the suspects regarding the survey as they were asked to stay at home and be available for the event.” said police inspector of Amberpet Anand Kumar.
The Integrated Criminal Survey is to verify the details of offenders arrested earlier.
Cyberabad police commissioner C.V. Anand said the data collected during the survey would help police track criminals and keep a track on their activities.
